I think when I was younger I read because of happy endings. I love a book with a happy ending where the hero gets the heroine.. and everyone lives happily ever after.
I do love books with sad endings though as well.. I love to cry.. or at least I love to get emotional.
Maybe i will add to this.. but i have food poisoning so im gonna stop here and lay back down..

I love happy endings as well as happily for now. I also need to know that Good will eventually triumph over Evil, at least for a little while.
ReplyDeleteInteresting post topic. Sorry to hear about your food poisoning. I hope you feel better very soon. :)
Dropped by from A to Z and look forward to return visits.
Hope you feel better!
ReplyDeleteI've written both tragic and happy endings. The tragic ones are harder to write.
Hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteI like hopeful endings, but if everything is too tidy it bugs me... Don't believe in happily ever after (in fact I did 'Ever After' for E... I offered up a Happily Mostly Afteer as preferable... *shifty* I don't like completely sad endings either... but sad with a spec of hope? Like Gone with the Wind? Now THAT is a good ending.
